Intergenerational Confession: Romans 7

Here is an intergenerational confession based on Romans 7, one of the suggested texts for July 3, 2011 (Proper 9A).

 

Prayer of Confession

(based on Romans 7) 

 

For not always doing the things we should,

we are sorry, God.

For sometimes doing things we shouldn’t,

we are sorry, God.

In your mercy, forgive us,

and help us to do better tomorrow.

Amen.
