Here’s
an offering prayer with congregational involvement. It was written by Carol Penner, pastor at Lendrum
M.B. Church in Edmonton, and posted on her Leading
in Worship website. She suggests
that the worship leader raise their hand when it’s time for the congregation to
join in on the “THANK YOU!”
Offering Prayer for Thanksgiving
For
all the ways you love us, we say THANK
YOU!
For the ways you provide for us, we say THANK YOU!
For the opportunity to give, we say THANK YOU!
For the kingdom work this offering will do, we say THANK YOU!
For letting us be a part of your work, we say THANK YOU!
For the ways you provide for us, we say THANK YOU!
For the opportunity to give, we say THANK YOU!
For the kingdom work this offering will do, we say THANK YOU!
For letting us be a part of your work, we say THANK YOU!
May
the thankful words on our lips
and the thankful meditations of our hearts be acceptable to you,
O God, our rock and our redeemer. Amen.
and the thankful meditations of our hearts be acceptable to you,
O God, our rock and our redeemer. Amen.
