Another new hymn for Easter

Here’s another new hymn for Easter. It was written by Michael Saward.  See below for tune suggestions.

O Christ our God
(Meter: 8.6.8.6.)

O Christ our God, before your cross
unceasingly we bow.
You give us life, you give us hope.
The one eternal Now.

O Christ our God, before your tomb
we wait with bated breath.
The stone has gone, the clothes remain,
you've triumphed over death.

O Christ our God, most powerful Lord,
the true and living way.
You show the path to heaven above,
alive on that third day.

O Christ our God, the one true love,
your goodness all may see.
We gaze on you, enthroned on high
for all eternity.
