Brothers and sisters,
Jesus said, “You shall love the Lord your God
with all your heart,
and with all your soul,
with all your heart,
and with all your soul,
and with all your mind.
And you shall love your neighbour as yourself.”
And you shall love your neighbour as yourself.”
We come before God this morning
aware that we have fallen short of what God desires of us.
We have not loved God with all our heart and soul and mind,
nor have we loved our neighbours as we love ourselves.
So let us come before God
to confess where we have failed,
and to seek God’s forgiveness.
