Benediction: Isaiah 44:6-8

Here’s a benediction based on Isaiah 44:6-8, the alternate Old Testament reading for the fifth Sunday after Pentecost (July 17, 2011).

Benediction
(based on Isaiah 44:6-8)

This is what the Lord, our Redeemer, says:

I am the First and I am the Last.
There is no God but me.
So do not fear; do not be afraid.
You know it to be true:
I alone am God—the Rock in whom you trust.
