Thanks to those of you who have already taken a few moments to fill out the brief Pandemic Worship Survey! Your responses have been very informative.
Even though the survey has only been up for a week now, I’m already seeing some clear trends. Among them:
(1) Although congregations are taking a variety of different approaches to congregational worship, the majority of churches have made the decision to post pre-recorded videos online;
(2) Reaction from congregations appears to be overwhelmingly supportive, with 97% of leaders reporting “positive” or “very positive” response from worshippers;
(3) Only 9% of churches are seeing “attendance” decrease during the pandemic.
