Opening
Prayer
(inspired by Psalm 122 and Isaiah 2:1-5)
I was overjoyed when they said to me, “Let us go to
the house of the Lord!”
In faith, we gather to worship you, O God.
This is where you teach us your ways, that we may
walk in your paths.
This is where we hear and act upon your word of
peace and justice.
so that instruments of war are transformed into
tools of production;
and nation shall not lift up arms against nation,
neither shall they learn war any more.
As we hear and obey, we shall surely walk in the
light of the Lord!
