a prayer inspired by the suggested scripture readings for Proper 5 C, the third
Sunday after Pentecost.
Prayer
Mighty
God,
your hands hold the power of life itself.
You restore life in the face of death,
bringing hope out of despair
and promise out of destruction.
Through the breath of your Spirit
bring new life to us,
that we may announce to the world the power of your presence
made known in Jesus Christ our Savior. Amen.
