Christ is risen!
Let us pray for those who do not share our Easter joy:
We pray for those
who live in the shadow of darkness and despair;
for those who live with the hopelessness
of shattered dreams
trust betrayed
opportunities
lost love denied;
for those who live
without faith or hope or love;
who see no resurrection,
no hope of new beginnings
for themselves or for the world.
