Commission & Benediction
(based on Romans 13: 8-14)
Open your eyes and look around!
See what God is doing!
The day of salvation is closer than you think.
Don’t let yourself get so caught up in everyday activities
that you lose sight of the life God has called you to.
Put aside the attitudes and actions that belong to the darkness,
and instead clothe yourself with the presence of Jesus Christ,
living and acting today
as we will live and act when He comes again.
And may the grace of God—
Father, Son and Holy Spirit—
be with you and among you in the week ahead. Amen.
