Listen to My words carefully,
for if you do, you will have life.
I have made an everlasting covenant with you,
just like the covenant I made with David—
to love you faithfully.
And just as I used David to show my power to the nations,
I shall also use you.
You too will call people you do not know—
they will come running to you because of Me;
because I, the Lord your God, have made you glorious.
