I’ve chosen to focus my suggestions on the theme of God’s Word, since it runs through so many of the lectionary passages for this Sunday: we see it in Psalm 1 1 9 :1 05 -1 1 2 (Your Word is a lamp to guide my feet), Matthew 1 3 1 -9 (the parable of the farmer scattering seed), and Isaiah 5 5 :1 01 3
