Contemporary Song for Easter 2

Here’s a new contemporary song by Matt Maher, Louie Giglio, and Chris Tomlin which would make a great addition to worship in this Easter season—“I Lift My Hands” from Tomlin's And If Our God Is For Us album.

If you’re working with the story of Doubting Thomas (John 20:19-31), this song would work beautifully.  You can listen to the song at the WorshipTogether website, and (for a limited time), download a free lead sheet.  Or check it out on YouTube.

Be still, there is a Healer
His love is deeper than the sea
His mercy is unfailing
His arms, a fortress for the weak

Let faith arise, let faith arise
I lift my hands to believe again
You are my refuge, You are my strength
As I pour out my heart, these things I remember
You are faithful, God, forever

Be still, there is a river
That flows from Calvary's Tree
A fountain for the thirsty
Your grace that washes over me

Let faith arise, let faith arise

Let faith arise, let faith arise
Open my eyes, open my eyes
Let faith arise, let faith arise
Open my eyes
