a prayer of dedication and commitment inspired by Jeremiah 18:1-11 and Isaiah

Prayer of Commitment
(inspired by Jeremiah
18:1-11, Isaiah 64:8)
Spirit
of the Living God,
We
ask that you would truly mold, shape, re-form each of us
into
the people you would have us be.
Fill
us to overflowing with your wonderful Spirit,
and
then use us to share the Good News of your kingdom
with
your people everywhere.
This
we pray in the name of the living Christ
who
walks with us,
that
same Christ who taught his followers to pray,
and
when we pray to say together. . .
Our Father, who art
in heaven,
