O God, you are our God.
We seek you.
Our souls thirst for you,
our bodies long for you,
as in a dry and weary land
where there is no water.
We have met you in the sanctuary,
and beheld your power and glory.
Because your steadfast love is better than
life,
our lips will praise you.
We will bless you as long as we live;
we will lift up our hands, and call upon your
name.
