Prayer Reflection: Hebrews 9: 11-15

Here’s a prayer reflection on Hebrews 9:11-15, the suggested epistle reading for Proper 26 B (the 23rd Sunday after Pentecost).  It was written by Anne Osdieck.

Prayer Reflection: Who Could Love Us More?
(inspired by Hebrews 9:11-15)

“Christ entered once for all into the Holy Place,
not with the blood of goats and calves, but with his own blood,
thus obtaining eternal redemption.” Hebrews 9:12

Once
for all time
Christ sealed the

covenant

with his own blood.

He barged straight into
the sacred place,
with all of us
in tow.

Who could love us more?

Thank you, Lord.
Thank you.
